My guest for this episode is my old friend Dan Schafer, known to the world as Dan Vapid of Screeching Weasel, the Riverdales, the Methadones, Noise By Numbers, and currently, Dan Vapid & The Cheats. Dan's new album "Escape Velocity" was one of my favorite punk LP's of 2021 and in this conversation - recorded in late 2021, before the onset of Omicron - we talk about Dan's approach to songwriting, listening to music (including his own,) and life in the pandemic.
